Privacy Policy

Happy Florist PLT (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and handles your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia) (“PDPA”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information we collect. When you place an order or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing details, and the delivery details you provide. When you visit our website, we automatically collect limited device and browsing information (such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed) through cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the site.

Recipient information. When you send a gift, you provide us with the recipient’s name, address and phone number. We use this solely to fulfil and deliver your order and do not use it for marketing. By providing it, you confirm you are authorised to share the recipient’s details with us.

How we use your information. To process and deliver your orders; to communicate with you about your order; to provide customer support; to comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations; and, where you have agreed, to send you offers and updates.

Payments. Payments are processed by Billplz (FPX / online banking) and PayPal. We do not store your full card or online-banking credentials; these are handled directly and securely by the payment provider.

Where your data is held. Our website and order records are hosted on our web hosting provider’s servers. We take reasonable steps to keep your personal data secure.

Sharing. We share your data only with parties needed to fulfil your order (for example, our delivery team and payment providers) and where required by law. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention. We keep order information for as long as required for our business, tax and accounting records under Malaysian law, after which it is deleted or anonymised. You may request deletion where we are not legally required to retain it.

Your rights under the PDPA. You have the right to access and correct your personal data, and to limit its processing for marketing. To make a request, email hello@happyflorist.my; we will respond within a reasonable time and may verify your identity first.

Cookies. We use cookies to keep the site working (for example, your shopping cart) and to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
